The Drill Hall in Lincoln was once again the setting for the annual Sew into Fashion Show, where designs from young people were showcased and celebrated for the 7th year running. Six Lincolnshire schools created collections for the show, starting from scratch and working with industry professionals from the Fashion Academy to produce pieces based on their chosen themes.
With the theme of Madame butterfly students took to the internet to find designers and imagery to inspire.
The collections were judged whilst on the catwalk, and awards were presented to the students by professionals from the creative and design industries.
With all the change that teachers are implementing in their classrooms, isn’t now the time to increase collaboration opportunities, be they formal or informal? - Check out some of the collaboration we have been involved with this year.
