For this class project we discussed the style and colours used by artist Robert Delaunay. We then all added two things to our giant Delaunay inspired art work. When we had done this we gridded the large sheet and each pupil had a section to colour using coloured pencils. (Remember to number the back of the squares if you try this as it is nearly impossible to put back together otherwise!) Then voila you have a bright and colourful class artwork. This is great for a cover lesson or one off filler lesson. My advice would be to have two or three of these going in one lesson so pupils do not have any time hanging around doing nothing as they have finished their square.
