Today we celebrated National Day, It marks the UAE's Union Day between the six emirates which was followed by the joining of the seventh emirate, Ras Alkhaima, in 1972.
Following weeks of working on our Fujairah stall we set up alongside our other emirates to celebrate the UAE.We had Arabic Coffee, traditional dress, dancing, henna, camels, falcons and lots on offer for pupils to experience and learn about the different emirates. What a fun filled day for all.
Hello everybody, my name is Lyanne Fellows. I am a mum to an 8 year old boy and five year old boy and girl twins. Before moving back to the North East I worked in Dubai as a teacher of Art and Graphic Design and acting Head of Department. This was a move prompted by having twins and not wanting to give up my teaching job. Before having my twins I was head of art and a teacher trainer working for 6 years with a cluster of academies in the Midlands. I am now doing cover work in Newcastle upon Tyne and looking out for a position that is right for me to develop and share my vision with. I am really excited for another fun filled year.
