Following our lessons on line and composition students used different papers to cut shapes to display. They must make creative decisions when arranging their shapes and selecting the colours to ensure they create a successful balance with unity and harmony. Students said they found this harder than they thought and used peer assessment and advice a lot throughout the lesson to help solve the problems and get a successful outcome.

Beginning with the elements of design we started experimenting with line using ink. We then added colour in lesson two touching on colour theory in design.
